Jescel Rolón, Lopito Ileana & Howie’s Public Relations Director, was recently sworn-in as President-Elect of the Puerto Rico Public Relations Professional Association (ARPPR, for its Spanish acronym) for 2018-2020.
The election and sworn-in ceremony took place during the ARPPR’s annual meeting, previous to its annual convention. Officers are elected for a two-year period.

Jescel, who has been at LIH for the past 10 years, steadily growing from Account Executive to Account Director and now Public Relations Director, is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience. She is a licensed public relations professional with experience in entertainment, health, banking and non-profit organizations, working for clients such as Merck, MCS and American Cancer Society, among others. She is the recipient of five Excel Awards, presented by the ARPPR, for campaigns for Doral Bank, CAP Foundation and JetBlue. She received the Paco Oller Award in 2016 (Best in Show) for JetBlue’s “Abuvión” campaign. She was also distinguished in the Sales and Marketing Executive Awards for its “Abuvión” campaign.
